18 Day of December – #singing

Christmas is a wonderful time of year. Many people associate the holidays with family, food, pleasure, and music. According to research, hearing particular tunes can trigger certain memories in people’s brains. What were you listening to while you opened gifts on Christmas morning 1989? Music not only gives us that nostalgic sensation, but the lyrics of the songs frequently resonate with us and remind us of another time.

My top 5:

“I won’t ask for much this Christmas. I won’t even wish for snow. And I’m just gonna keep on waiting, underneath the mistletoe.”
All I want for Christmas is You

“Jingle Bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh, what fun it is to ride, in a one-horse open sleigh.”
Jingle Bells

“On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me: a partridge in a pear tree.”
12 Days of Christmas

“Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows.”
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

“Christmas time is here, happiness and cheer. Fun for all that children call, their favorite time of year.”
