11 Day of December #Gifts

Uhhh… this topic is challenging for me. I love to show my love by gifting a lot and get a dopamine kick out of seeing another person happy while receiving my gift. I know that I have a “problem,” and I’m doing my best by trying to manage it.

Speaking about the gifts, here 3 exciting thoughts for you :

Spending more does not always guarantee a well-received gift.

If you have something in common with somebody, get something that shares the same affinity – Elizabeth Dunn.

Asking somebody what they want is seen as taboo. And that’s a shame. We would all be better off if we gave people what they want – Jeff Galak

Ok, let’s return no the main topic. For me, gifting is not an obligatory mane part of Christmas and New Year; ok, whom am I kidding… It’s the most significant part of the holiday — excitement, warmth, and happiness. I would suggest some ideas that I used, that gives extra special to the gift.

  • Handmade – it shows the intentions and that you were willing to spend some time on it. After all, time is the most valuable resource we have.
  • Activity – especially if it doing something with the loved ones.
  • Knowledge – you can teach someone something or get them a course. And that knowledge will stay with them. It won’t be wasted time, money, or effort.

A little something for the inspiration: 😉
