How to Get There
Most flights to Okinawa’s Naha Airport depart from Tokyo or Osaka on the Japanese mainland. Direct international flights to Okinawa from China, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Every day, flights from Tokyo to Naha on Okinawa’s main island. And direct flights to the outlying island of Ishigaki are available. Seasonal direct flights to Miyako Island are also available. From Naha Airport, you may also connect to the outlying islands of Miyako, Ishigaki, Yonaguni, and Kume. The best method to move about Okinawa is via renting a vehicle, or in specific locations, by bicycle or scooter.
