If a tour guide says,
“Everyone has to buy something. 3,000–5,000. No excuses.”
That’s not a cultural experience.
That’s a hostage situation with scenic stops.
Recently, videos from mainland group tours started circulating again. Not rumors. Not travel gossip. Undercover footage. Real threats, pressure. and people being told:
“If you don’t buy, I’ll give you a withdrawal agreement and you can leave the group.”
“Spend 2,000 or the bus isn’t leaving.”
“Delete that video.”
And my personal favorite level of audacity:
“You want to sleep? You can’t sleep. Respect me.”
You paid for a tour.
You’re now being lectured like a delinquent child.
This isn’t one dramatic guide having a bad day.
It’s a system.
别碰这种团:两千块买来的不是旅行,是羞辱
先把话说明白。
如果一个导游当着全车人的面说,“每个人必须买东西,三千到五千,不许找理由”,那就别再自我安慰说这是文化体验了。这就是披着旅游外衣的强制消费。
最近网上流出不少关于大陆低价团的视频。不是道听途说,也不是网友情绪发泄,而是偷拍视频。画面里导游直接放话,“不买就退团,自己走”“今天花不到两千,车不开”“别录视频”。甚至还有人因为在车上打瞌睡被点名批评,说“你得尊重我”。
问题根本不在于某个导游脾气差,而在于这种操作早就成了套路。
你交钱本来是为了轻松旅行,结果却被放进一个有销售指标的封闭空间里。气氛不是放松,而是紧绷。话术不是讲解历史,而是提醒你消费。所谓“团建感情”,最后都变成了算账。
这不是个例,这是结构问题。
The Low-Cost Tour Trap: Cheap Ticket, Expensive Dignity
Here’s how the model works.
Agencies advertise absurdly cheap packages. Sometimes “zero-cost.” Sometimes just suspiciously low. You think you scored a deal.
What you actually bought is a moving sales funnel.
Guides survive on commissions. Their income depends on how much you spend in designated jade shops, silver stores, latex mattress warehouses, ivory rooms, agarwood corners. The tour fee doesn’t pay them. Your shopping does.
No shopping means no commission.
No commission means pressure.
Pressure means humiliation dressed up as gratitude.
There are documented cases of tourists locked inside stores for hours. Buses stopped in remote snowy areas at minus thirteen degrees until more purchases were made. Guides calling tourists stingy and freeloaders. Parents being shouted at while answering calls about their child’s surgery. Threats that the remainder of the trip would be canceled if spending targets were not met.
That is not an exception. It is a structure.
And this is what that structure feels like.
低价团陷阱:票价便宜,尊严很贵
这个模式其实很简单。
旅行社用低到离谱的价格把你吸引进来。有的直接打“零团费”,有的价格低到让人觉得自己捡了大便宜。你以为自己聪明,抢到了划算的行程。
但你真正买到的,是一条移动销售流水线。
导游的收入靠提成。他们能赚多少,取决于你在指定商店花多少钱。玉石店、银器店、乳胶床垫馆、象牙展示间、沉香体验厅,这些都不是“顺路参观”,而是利润来源。团费本身根本养不活他们,真正给他们发工资的,是你的消费。
你不买,就没有提成。
没有提成,就有压力。
有压力,就会有人把“感恩”包装成理所当然的消费。
已经有很多真实案例。游客被关在店里几个小时出不来。大巴在零下十三度的荒郊雪地里停着,直到有人继续买单。导游当众骂人抠门、蹭团。家长接电话说孩子要做手术,被吼着让他先进去买东西。还有人被威胁,如果达不到消费指标,后面的行程直接取消。
这不是偶发事故。
这是整个运作方式决定的结果。
而这种结构带来的感觉,远比账单上的数字更压人。
What It Actually Feels Like Inside That Bus
Now imagine yourself on that bus.
The air carries the stale scent of synthetic leather seats and damp winter coats. The windows are fogged over because no one dares to crack them open. Outside, heavy snow falls steadily, muting the world into white silence. The engine suddenly shuts off.
The guide stands up at the front. There is no smile, no theatrics, no raised voice. Just calm authority.
“If you don’t buy, we are not leaving.”
The sentence lands quietly, but its weight spreads through the bus. Your stomach tightens, not from fear of violence, but from immediate calculation. You begin measuring risk in your head. How far are you from the nearest town? Could you realistically get back alone? Is your hotel prepaid? What happens to your return flight if this trip collapses here?
You glance around. Thirty-seven strangers sit rigidly in their seats. An older woman pulls her scarf tighter around her neck. A man in the back scrolls through his phone, though his fingers tremble slightly. Someone whispers that perhaps it would be easier to buy something small.
But there is no such thing as small. The amount has already been declared.
The bus remains warm. Outside, the temperature is well below freezing. That contrast is not accidental. Comfort becomes conditional.
You are escorted into a jade store washed in harsh fluorescent light. Glass counters line the walls. Sales staff stand positioned near the exits. The doors close behind the group. No one explicitly says you cannot leave, yet no one moves toward the door.
An hour passes.
Then another.
Time thickens in the artificial light. You begin to feel the collective tension pressing inward. No one wants to be the person who delays the group. No one wants to be labeled selfish. The guide walks by and quietly reminds everyone not to record.
The pressure is not loud. It is controlled.
Eventually, someone approaches the counter. A receipt prints. Relief moves through the room, subtle but undeniable. Others follow. Not because they are convinced, but because they are exhausted.
This is how compliance works in these spaces. It does not require shouting. It requires containment.
坐在那辆车里是什么感觉
你可以想象一下那个场景。
车厢里有股混着皮座椅和潮湿外套的味道。窗户起着雾,没有人去开窗。外面下着大雪,世界被压成一片灰白。突然,发动机熄火了。
导游站起来。没有情绪失控,也没有大吼大叫。他语气很平稳地说了一句:“不买,我们就不走。”
那一刻不是恐惧,而是计算。
你脑子开始飞快盘算。这里离市区多远?自己能不能打车回去?酒店订的是不是不可退款?后面的机票怎么办?这些问题一股脑冒出来。
车上三十多个人,没人说话。有人低头刷手机,手却有点发抖。有人小声说,要不买个便宜点的算了。
但你知道,根本不存在“便宜点”。金额早就定好了。
车里是暖的,外面是零下。那种对比本身就是一种无形压力。舒适变成了附带条件。
接着你被带进玉石店。刺眼的白灯,玻璃柜台一排排摆着。工作人员站在出口附近。没人明说不能走,但也没人真的走。
一个小时过去。
又一个小时。
空气越来越闷。大家互相看一眼又迅速移开视线。谁都不想成为拖累全车的人。导游经过时提醒一句,别录视频。
声音不大,但意思很清楚。
最后总有人先走到柜台前。打印机“嗒”地一声出单。那一刻,空气松了一点。接着第二个人,第三个人。
不是因为相信。
是因为累了。
这种场景里,控制并不需要暴力。
只需要让你耗下去。
The Psychological Squeeze
The damage is not limited to the money.
Imagine being publicly called stingy in front of strangers. While being told that your refusal to spend makes you ungrateful. Imagine being informed that the rest of the group cannot continue because of you.
There are recorded cases of guides insulting tourists for not shopping, accusing them of freeloading, or threatening to cancel the remainder of the trip. One parent answering a phone call about a child’s surgery was told to stop talking and go inside to shop. That sentence does not fade after the tour ends.
Consider another scenario. You close your eyes for a moment because you are exhausted from walking all day. The guide stops the bus and announces that sleeping is disrespectful. You are told that respect must be mutual, and the bus will not move until you “wake up properly.”
The microphone belongs to the guide. The keys belong to the guide. Transportation depends on the guide’s decision. The imbalance is clear without being shouted.
You are no longer simply a traveler. You are leverage within a commission system.

你可以想象一下,在一群陌生人面前被当众说“你太抠”“不懂事”“不感恩”是什么感觉。更难受的是,当有人暗示因为你不消费,整个团队都走不了,那种集体压力会直接压到你身上。
现实中确实发生过。导游因为游客不买东西,当众讽刺、羞辱,甚至威胁取消后面的行程。还有家长在车上接到电话,说孩子要做手术,却被吼着先进去消费。那句话不会随着旅行结束而消失,它会留在脑子里很久。
再想一个场景。
你走了一整天,真的很累,只是闭上眼睛想休息几分钟。导游突然把车停下,说睡觉是不尊重。他强调“尊重是互相的”,在你“醒好”之前,车不会开。
没有推搡,没有暴力。
但话筒在他手里,车钥匙在他手里,行程的节奏在他手里。权力关系清清楚楚摆在那里,不需要吼叫也能感受到。
这时候你已经不再只是一个游客。
在提成模式里,你成了一个变量。
The Quiet Negotiation With Yourself
There is always a turning point.
It is the moment when frustration shifts into internal bargaining. Perhaps this is normal here. Maybe you misunderstood. Perhaps it is easier to pay and move on.
You begin calculating again. Are two thousand worth arguing over in a remote area? Is it worth risking the rest of the trip? Is dignity worth being stranded?
The pressure rarely appears as physical force. It appears as a controlled inconvenience. The bus can remain parked. The group can be delayed. The itinerary can quietly dissolve.
When a guide says that the rest of the journey will be canceled unless spending targets are met, the product being sold is not jade or latex pillows. It is the continuation of your own vacation.
And that is where the line shifts from commerce into coercion.

情绪慢慢退下去,理性开始算账。
两千块,值不值得在这种地方僵着?三千块,值不值得赌后面行程会不会出问题?如果真的被丢在半路,酒店、机票、时间成本怎么算?所谓的尊严,值不值得承担这些风险?
你发现自己在做的,不是购物选择,而是风险评估。
这种压力很少表现为肢体冲突。它更像是一种被设计好的不方便。车可以一直停着。团队可以被拖延。行程可以在不知不觉中被掏空。
当导游说,如果达不到消费标准,后面的安排就取消,那一刻他卖的已经不是玉石,也不是乳胶枕头。
他卖的是你继续旅行的资格。
而从那一刻开始,事情的性质就变了。
这已经不是正常的商业交易。
这是被包装成旅游的胁迫。
“Respect Me, I Respect You” – Translation: Open Your Wallet
The language is always dressed in moral framing.
“Show gratitude.”
“Heaven rewards hard work.”
“You should appreciate the guide’s effort.”
Respect is suddenly measured in receipts.
Meanwhile tourists report:
- Being forced to produce shopping proof before re-boarding the bus.
- Being insulted publicly for not buying enough.
- Being shown videos shaming groups as “shameless.”
- Being warned: “If you don’t spend, you won’t get back to China.”
One illegal guide operating in Thailand was arrested after years of forcing tourists to buy latex pillows and shouting at them. Same script. Different country.
And here’s the uncomfortable twist:
This model has spread beyond mainland China. Reports show similar zero-cost tours appearing in Vietnam, targeting Chinese tourists, trapping them in ivory and jade rooms.
The export product isn’t tourism. It’s pressure.
“你尊重我,我尊重你”——翻译一下,就是掏钱
这些话术永远包着一层道德外衣。
“要懂得感恩。”
“天道酬勤。”
“导游这么辛苦,你们也该体谅。”
听上去都很正能量。
但现实是,所谓的“尊重”,突然开始用小票来衡量。
不少游客反馈,被要求上车前出示购物凭证;有人因为消费金额不够,当众被讽刺;还有团队被播放偷拍视频,贴上“没素质”“不体面”的标签。甚至有人被警告,“不消费,就别想回去。”
这已经不是沟通,是威胁。
几年前在泰国,就有一名非法导游因为长期强迫游客购买乳胶枕头、当众辱骂游客而被警方逮捕。套路几乎一模一样,只是换了国家。
更让人不舒服的是,这种低价团模式并没有止步于大陆本地。近几年在越南,也出现类似针对中国游客的零团费操作。被带去象牙店、玉石店,长时间困在房间里,不消费就不放人。
出口的不是文化。
是施压方式。
Then There’s Taiwan
Now here’s where the contrast hits like a glass of cold water. Tourists who joined day tours in Taiwan describe something wildly different.
8–10 hour tours.
100–200 RMB equivalent.
No shopping stops.
If products were suggested, they were the same price as outside. Sometimes the guide helped skip queues. Sometimes they explained expectations upfront:
“This beef noodle shop may be 10–20 NTD more than in the city. Flavor might be ordinary.”
Then tourists ate it and found generous beef, clear broth, honest portions. In Jiufen and Shifen, prices matched what the guide quoted. No hidden markups. No mandatory spending quotas.
One mainland guide who later worked on Taiwan tours admitted the difference shocked him. In mainland tours he felt constant anxiety: “What if they don’t buy? How do I explain to the agency?” In Taiwan, the local guide remembered every passenger’s name. Helped older guests off the bus. Found bathrooms for them. Bought a birthday cake for a child when he learned it was their birthday.
That’s not “better marketing.” That’s a different service philosophy.
再看看台湾
对比就在这里。
不少参加过台湾一日游的游客都说,那完全是另一种体验。
八到十个小时的行程,折合人民币大概一两百块。全程没有强制购物点。
如果导游推荐商品,价格和外面一样。有时候还能帮忙省时间,比如带大家走团队通道、少排队。甚至在安排午餐之前,会提前说清楚预期。
“这家牛肉面可能比市区贵个十到二十新台币,味道也未必多惊艳。”
说得很实在。
结果游客吃完才发现,汤头清爽,牛肉给得足,分量不含糊。不是惊天动地的美食,但对得起价格。
在九份、十分,导游提前报的价格和老街实际售价一致。没有暗中加价,也没有消费指标。
有一位后来转去带台湾团的大陆导游自己说过,刚开始真的被震到。以前在大陆带团,他每天最焦虑的不是讲解内容,而是“今天卖多少”“游客不买怎么办”“回去怎么跟公司交代”。压力一直在。
到了台湾,他看到当地导游记得每个人的名字。七十多岁的老人上下车会被主动搀扶。有人临时找厕所,导游先帮忙安排。甚至听说有小朋友过生日,导游自己买了蛋糕。
这不是营销技巧更高级。
这是服务理念本身不一样。
Why This Keeps Happening
The mainland low-cost tour model is built on:
- Price wars between agencies
- Extremely low upfront fees
- Heavy reliance on shopping kickbacks
- Weak enforcement of regulations
- Some unlicensed or illegally operating guides
When survival depends on commissions, the relationship between guide and tourist turns adversarial. You’re not a guest. You’re a revenue target.
In environments where consumer protection and transparency are stronger, the service model shifts. Reputation matters long term. Dignity matters. Word spreads fast.
Systems shape behavior.
为什么这种事会反复出现
大陆低价团之所以会变成现在这样,并不是偶然。
它建立在几个很现实的基础之上。
第一,是旅行社之间的价格战。大家拼命压低团费,用“超低价”把客源抢过来。
第二,是前端收费低到离谱,几乎不可能覆盖真实成本。
第三,是高度依赖购物回扣,真正赚钱的不是行程本身,而是消费提成。
第四,是监管执行力度有限,违规成本不够高。
第五,还有一部分导游没有合法资质,靠灰色渠道带团。
在这种结构下,导游的生存直接和销售额挂钩。
当收入取决于提成时,导游和游客之间的关系就很难保持纯粹。你不再只是来旅游的人,而是一个必须完成的销售指标。
在消费保护更完善、信息更透明的环境里,服务逻辑会自然改变。长期口碑变得重要,个人尊严被默认要被尊重。因为一旦出问题,传播速度很快,代价也很高。
制度决定行为。
当系统鼓励压价和回扣,冲突就会常态化。
当系统鼓励信誉和透明,服务就会回到“以人为本”。
Don’t Do This
Do not chase a suspiciously cheap tour and expect a miracle.
If the price feels unreal, ask yourself:
Where is the guide’s income coming from?
If the itinerary lists multiple “factory visits,” “jade culture centers,” or “specialty experience halls,” that’s not culture. That’s inventory. If reviews mention being pressured, insulted, or delayed until shopping was done, believe them.
Tourism should expand you. Not corner you.
And no scenic mountain, no ancient temple, no lantern release is worth being called garbage because you didn’t buy a pillow.
Travel is not a battlefield. It’s a choice. Choose people who treat you like one.
别这么选
不要为了图便宜去赌所谓“奇迹团”。
如果价格低到让你自己都觉得不真实,先问一句,导游的收入从哪儿来?
如果行程里反复出现“参观工厂”“玉石文化中心”“特色体验馆”之类的安排,那基本不是文化安排,是库存安排。
如果评论区有人提到被催消费、被当众挤兑、被拖时间直到购物结束,那就别自我安慰说只是个例。多数时候,那就是常态。
旅游本来应该让人放松,让人眼界打开。
不应该把人逼进角落。
再壮观的山,再宏伟的寺庙,再浪漫的天灯,都不值得你因为没买个枕头被人骂。
旅行不是战场。
它是选择。
选那些把你当人对待的。
